Eat Out to Help Out was a scheme whereby a customer could have 50% off food and a soft drink, with a cap of £10. We chose to forgo the cap and allow the customer to benefit from 50% off their total bill (excl. alcohol) throughout August 2020. At the end of August, we extended the scheme throughout September, naming it Eat Out To Help Out Again, at the business’ expense but this time including the previously-mentioned cap. For both campaigns, customers were able to redeem the offer when they ordered via the Order and Pay app, applying a checkout code that was given to them when they were seated.
We had creative made for Eat Out to Help Out and Eat Out to Help Out Again, which we could apply to print and digital assets. Two design versions were created for the September offer due to the differing style of pubs that would be participating.
