We needed to ensure that all tables where sanitised between customers, so we made a beer mat to be placed on each table when it was ready for the host to seat the next customers. On the back, it had a QR code with a link to the pub’s Order & Pay app, so the customer could reduce contact with the staff and movement throughout the premises.
We looked for a uniform that made hosts and cleaning teams recognisable but still held true to Metropolitan Pub Company aesthetic and ways of working. We had a range of canvas aprons embroidered with the different roles that the team would be performing during their shift.
Metropolitan Pub Company had never created a suite of branded POS until this point but we designed all safety signage and POS with subtle branding, to give customers a sense of confidence and trust in the safety measures put in place.
We were offering many different ordering services, including Deliveroo, Click & Collect, Order & Pay and deil shops that had not been in place until this point, so we needed to communicate these new mechanics to our customers. We made a range of creative that could be used across social media, in-pub and email marketing.
